Port of London Authority announces annual forum plans

The Port of London Authority’s (PLA) Annual Stakeholder Forum will be held at IET London, Savoy Place on 11 May 2016.

The Forum, the PLA’s equivalent to an annual general meeting, is open to anyone who wishes to attend. Hosted by PLA chairman, Christopher Rodrigues CBE, it will start at 9.30 am, with refreshments available from 9.00 am.

The event will feature an update on 2015 river highlights, including increasing river use across port trade and passenger trips, recreational, and cultural river events, plus the development of the Thames Vision. There will be an open question time for guests after the formal presentations.

PLA chief executive, Robin Mortimer, explains:

“I hope that as many people as possible take the chance to join us for this year’s Forum. We made important progress last year, managing continued growth in river use alongside development of a robust and shared plan for the Thames’ future.

“As an organisation working for the benefit of stakeholders, we really value people’s input. This is your opportunity to come along and have your say, whether in the formal session or one to one afterwards.”

To register to attend the Forum, please contact the PLA (email: [email protected], or call: 01474-562364).
