Over 40 unemployed young people are set to join the Port of London Authority (PLA) in Gravesend and Forth Ports, including at Tilbury, for paid six-month traineeships this spring, as part of the Government’s £2.4 billion Kickstart work programme.

Maritime UK is pleased to confirm the appointment of Sarah Kenny as its new Chair, and of Robin Mortimer as its new Vice Chair. Kenny, who is CEO of BMT Group was previously Vice Chair and replaces Harry Theochari, Global Head of Transport at Norton Rose Fulbright. Kenny’s successor as Vice Chair Robin Mortimer is CEO of the Port of London Authority.
