Giant Balloon seen at Tower Bridge

The Disney balloon on the ThamesA 24 metre high balloon successfully sailed through Tower Bridge on the Thames early on Friday October 2.

This event on the River was to publicise a new Disney Pixar animated film 'UP' - a comedy adventure about a 78-year-old balloon salesman who fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away.

For its journey on the Thames, the fully inflated 'UP' balloon was secured to the barge 'Mercator' and towed by the tug 'Revenge'.
