Book early for Christmas on the Thames

Christmas may be four months away but that is no reason to put off booking personal seasonal treats. Restaurant river cruise operator Bateaux London has released details of its Christmas packages, providing lunches and dinners with some of London's most breathtaking views by day or night.
Ian Fyfe, Director of Sales and Marketing for Bateaux London commented:
"It may be mid summer but we are already receiving high levels of bookings for Christmas lunch and dinner cruises. The capital is a beautiful place during the festive season, decked out in lights and decorations, and customers have the opportunity to take it all in whilst enjoying dining on the River Thames. Our Christmas cruises are highly popular so we are encouraging customers to book early to avoid disappointment."
With two dedicated restaurant vessels, the Symphony and the Naticia, guests can enjoy a Classic Christmas Lunch cruise for £39.50 pp. Available seven days a week between 1st and 23rd December 2007, the price includes a three-course set menu, fresh filter coffee and chocolates onboard a 2 ½ hour river cruise. Upgrades to Premier and Elite Lunch cruises are available, where the Elite cruises cost £55.00 pp and include exclusive seating at the front of the boat, a half bottle of house wine, mineral water and a souvenir photograph per couple.
Classic Christmas Dinner cruises are also available seven days a week between 1st and 22nd December 2007 and start from £69.00 pp including a welcome drink, four-course a la carte menu with Christmas option, fresh filter coffee and chocolates plus live entertainment and after-dinner dancing during a 2 ½ hour cruise. Upgrades to the Premier and Elite package are also available.
Cruises depart from Embankment Pier at 12.30pm for Lunch Cruises and at 8pm for Dinner Cruises.
For larger family and friend celebrations, private dining is also available in a separate area on board the vessels and private charters for Christmas parties are available from any pier in London and can be tailored individually ensuring every detail, from food and decorations to entertainment, meet the specific requirements.
A dress code applies for dinner cruises of no jeans, trainers or sportswear.
